Pilot projects advance perioperative mental health science, help to “build the bench” with new investigators in this field, and expand the reach of this Center. Each year, the Center solicits applications via a competitive process, to conduct one- year pilot studies that are consistent with the Center’s overall goals and that leverage the Center’s resources and expertise.
In 2023, the Center is funding one pilot or feasibility project for up to $40,000.
Successful proposals must:
- Address one or more key issues described in the Request for Proposals
- Focus on perioperative wellness
- Be proposed by a multidisciplinary team
- Specify how this pilot study will inform subsequent applications for external funding (e.g. funder, funding mechanism, PIs and topic)
Requests for Proposals are now closed.
